Save Our Abandoned and Neglected Animal Friends
Paws and Whiskers is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, no kill animal rescue organization that is staffed by dedicated volunteers. Our goal is to rescue animals from very high kill shelters and give them a second chance to live out the rest of their normal life in loving and caring homes. -
Once in our care the animals are vaccinated, spayed and neutered. - We also provide additional medical care for those animals that come to us with special issues,e.g heartworm, tumors, malnutrition, lost sight and many more problems.

Sometimes animals that we rescue are shy or have been mistreated and our staff takes special care to socialize and work with these companion pets. While waiting for their permanent home our animals stay on our private property located in the panoramic mountains of West Virginia. Here they enjoy the quiet tranquility of our natural surroundings. Wild life abounds and deer, turkey, fox, groundhogs and many species of birds are permanent residents.
