Dear Joyce,

I donated $50 for mother's day through your website.

Here is a picture of my beagle Romeo. We adopted him from you in Nov 2005 when he was just 10 weeks old. He was very sweet and docile for the first few days and then become a little terror for the next few months! [a very adorable one though] He is now a very social and happy dog, who loves to visit with other neighborhood dogs. He gets along with everyone, and enjoys long walks in the park, especially now that it is spring. My family just adores him and he continues to bring happiness to our lives every single day.

This is Issie who I adopted from Paws and Whiskers in February, 2007 when she was about 6 months old. Joyce hand picked her for me to take home to foster and hopefully adopt as a companion for my older dog. Joyce picked well and Issie never left her new home. We had the usual ups and downs that come with a transition and puppy-hood and now I have a fabulous dog with whom I couldn’t imagine being without. My family and older dog fell in love with her instantly. She is exuberant, sweet natured and cuddly. She has proven to be smart with a strong desire to please. She passed her Canine Good Citizen ship just as she turned 1 year of age and has completed 2 levels of obedience classes and is now an advanced beginner in agility, who will start competing in the next year. I am so thankful for Issie and for “Paws and Whiskers” who give dogs like my Issie a chance at a happy life!
